Re: Can i rant for a moment?
another thing ladies
cos this topic has got me all fired up now
My husband spoke at 2 years old, they all thought something was wrong with him. He speaks 5 languages fluently as an adult so there is nothing wrong with him
Different children reach different milestones at different paces. It doesnt make them more intelligent or intellectual or sporty or super. Its individual! Grrr ok off my rant now

Re: Can i rant for a moment?
My brother didn't speak til late either -- my sister did all his talking for him so he didn't try rofl.
Lucy is sitting for a few minutes, but not much at all, and she doesn't really pull herself up to sit yet. She rolls like a champ. She doesn't crawl, but she spends alot of time on her tummy with either her back arched and her head down, or her head up and her tummy down. She works on that in her crib in the mornings alot lol. You get up and there will be this little face sticking up.
I am sure some of those women would say at 7 months she is way behind, but whatever. She is a clever little monkey, I bet she can manipulate her hands and fingers better than most of those super babies, and the little wheels in her brain are always spinning - you can see them working sometimes lol.
Did your babies get really strong legs before they started crawling/walking? Because suddenly her little legs are strong and solid. She puts them out straight when you are trying to take her jammie feet off to change her diaper, and I can hardly get her to bend them until she is ready to. She giggles and thinks it is great fun.

Yes DMom! Jasmins legs have just suddenly got chubbier and very strong, I have to tickle her tummy or under her knees to get her to bend her legs so I can change her! Fun! Aww I do love being a mum

Owen has always had strong legs but he does that locked leg thing too! It's so funny he also clinches his butt cheeks REALLY tight! It always cracks me up!!!!! When I give him his bath I always plead with him to "relax" so I can get everything clean!
